Interior Design for dummies

Have just brought the book Puppy raising and training for dummies (Maud and I are having how shall I say - a few little issues) and I suddenly thought how fab it would be if there was a book called interior design for dummies. First chapter in this imaginery new book of mine would be 'don't be scared'. Don't be scared and add colour I promise you coming over to the dark side does work and updates a room like no other. It also looks super sophisticated and glamorous gorgeous  and uber dramatic. Of course there would be a whole load of other chapters from lighting (no single pendants in rooms please) to accessories (add with aplomb), furniture (please don't make everything match), to room layout (cosy little nooks add intrigue). Not sure anybody would buy such a tome - but hey one can imagine! Couple of images below to inspire:
