Curve appeal

We run a free style clinic (first Saturday of each month) giving advice and helping out with style dilemma’s. Something I see again and again when looking at people’s pads is the lack of curves. Sorry to preach but curves are so important in a scheme as not only do they add that little extra dose of personality to a room they also allow a room to flow. Anything from voluptuous coffee tables to subtly rounded vases or lighting will soften the hard lines of a room.  It’s also important to have more than one curve in your scheme, as they need to connect in some way The image below pretty much nails what I am going on about. The rug anchors the scheme and is a great focal point with occassional tables beautifully and  subtlety mirroring the point. Fabulous
