Open Call - Featuring Sassy Hardwick

I am rather blown away with the quality of work coming in via my Open Call. If you are a designer, artist, artisan,  emerging, new or existing we are taking submissions continually.  I won't be able to respond to every single email (email us on opencall@abigailahern.com)  as we are rather inundated but I do I promise you look at every single entry and  then feature the coolest. Across all my social media channels I'll showcase the work  to my huge international database and in some cases stock the products in my store. Such is the case with Sassy Hardwick,  a boutique furniture company that creates some truly decadent cool edgy pieces. Founder Sarah Payne customises vintage pieces by using unusual materials like parchment, leather, gold leaf and then further embellishing with the most amazing hardware! I interviewed Sarah not so long ago about the her work, the marketplace, inspiration and here is what she said below.
