Open Call - previewing Delphine Lippens founder of Humble Ceramics

This weeks Open Call highlights the work of a very talented Los Angeles based artist Delphine Lippens. Unbelievably Delphine hadn't actually sat down at a wheel or worked with clay until a couple of years ago. When I first saw her submission I was blown away with the simplicity; her pieces feel rustic and yet modern at the same time and appropriate to any style interior be that modern or traditional. Eating and drinking from hand thrown pieces is a luxury but its something I have done for years it makes food and drink not only taste better but look way cooler as well.
